How you can help.

Our work wouldn't be possible without our volunteers. We have volunteers who give their time to supervise and assist during full school hours, and we have those who drop in merely to read to the kids or lead a devotion for 30 minutes to an hour.

There are opportunities for all ages, skill sets, and levels of experience. Our volunteers are required to meet only one criterion: they love God and desire to share His love with our students.

Here are some areas we are currently seeking assistance:

  • The tutor will work with students from elementary through high school, providing personalized support across various math levels. Ideal candidates are passionate about education, adaptable, and committed to fostering both academic and spiritual growth.

  • This role involves overseeing sports programs for students from elementary through high school, with a focus on promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and Christian principles. We're looking for someone who is energetic, organized, and eager to inspire both athletic excellence and strong character in our students.

  • Do you have a heart to serve others through food? Meal items for breakfast, lunch, and snacks are always welcome and appreciated! IDEAS for how to serve in this way:

    • A home-cooked or store-bought meal

    • Healthy (ish!) snacks—could be fruit, pre-packaged items, homemade snack items, etc… Some sugar is okay, but we are working hard to not overdo it this year. :)

    • Teach the kids how to cook one of your favorite meals. Then join us for lunch to eat it!

    • How often? On a monthly, weekly, or as often as you feel lead to basis!

  • Do you have a particular skill, talent, or knowledge base you’d like to share or teach? These might include, but are not limited to:

    • Art

    • Music

    • Business or Entrepreneurship

    • Computer + Technology (E.g.: Typing instruction, Microsoft Office/ 365 tutorials, etc.)

    • Budgeting/ finances for teens

    • “Hands on” Tutorials such as: home & vehicle maintenance, landscaping, carpentry/ contractor skills

    • Foreign Languages

    • Nutrition/ Exercise/ Weightlifting

    • Come for an hour and share about your faith journey, particular career, hobby, or passion!

    • & MORE!… The opportunities are endless!

  • Are you passionate about or love a certain subject? We are looking for one-on-one tutors to work with our kids, whose ages range from 8-18. Their school work encompasses Elementary, Middle School, and High School subjects. If you are more comfortable with a certain age group, we will do our best to accommodate that!

    IDEAS for how to serve in this way:

    • Math tutor (ranging from basic math skills- up to Geometry and Algebra II)

    • English/ Reading/ Language Arts tutor

    • Time frames are approximately 1 hour at a time
